The Val di Fassa is a valley to be experienced all year round. In summer it invites you to walk, cycle and climb to higher altitudes. In winter it transforms into a vast white setting for skiers, sports enthusiasts and snow lovers. In spring it slows down, filled with new light and scents. In autumn it changes colour and offers quieter views.
From Albergo Alla Rosa, you can set off each day with a different plan: here, the mountains are not just for admiring, but for experiencing to the full.

One of the most beautiful scenic walks to do starting from the Passo Pordoi area (or directly from Canazei with the ski lifts). The trail follows a high-altitude route without excessive difficulty, offering spectacular views of the Marmolada, Lake Fedaia and the Sella Group. Perfect for experiencing the mountain with a slow pace and open eyes.

Autumn in Val di Fassa is a season of silent panoramas, golden larches and clear air. The advice is to choose a walk in the valley floor or among the woods around Canazei, to experience the foliage at a relaxed pace.

From Canazei you can enter one of the most famous ski carousels in the world: the Sellaronda. This ski tour around the Sella Group passes through four Dolomite mountain passes and four Ladin valleys, all of which can be explored in a single day with your skis on from start to finish.

When the Val di Fassa wakes up, the best way to experience it is to walk unhurriedly: walking along the Avisio stream, the route follows the valley floor, crosses villages, offers views of the mountains and quiet stretches, without great altitude differences. It is the perfect way to experience the mountains at a gentle pace.
